Frequently asked questions
How much notice do you need for a custom cake?
We ask for at least 48 hours for whole cakes from our menu, and 5–7 days for bespoke or tiered celebration cakes. Get in touch early for weekends — they book out quickly.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
Yes. All of our breads except brioche are vegan, and we bake gluten-free loaves and a rotating gluten-free sweet on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please note our kitchen handles gluten and nuts.
Can I reserve a loaf so it doesn't sell out?
Absolutely. Call us before 10am and we'll hold your loaf at the counter until closing time.
Do you supply cafés and restaurants?
We supply a small number of venues across the inner city with daily bread and pastries. Email wholesale@goldencrustbakery.com.au with your requirements and we'll arrange a tasting.
Is there seating at the bakery?
We have a handful of stools inside and two tables on the footpath — perfect for a coffee and croissant in the sunshine.
